Dylan is a Level 3 Coach currently doing his PhD on Sports Biomechanics.

He recently won gold with the U18 girls team at AYVC and silver as an assistant coach for the WA Steel women's team.

Course Information:

The course will cover:

• Passing, setting, blocking, spiking and serving
• Coaching skills
• Gameplay
• New Drills

To attend the Volleyball Australia Level 2 Associate Face to Face Coaching Course, you must complete the following prior to registering:

Please note, your registration will be rejected if the following is not completed and you will not be able to attend the course.

1. Be a current member of your State or Territory Volleyball Association. 

2. Be an accredited Volleyball Australia Level 1 Coach.

3. Completed the Australia Sport Commission Community Coaching Essential Skills Course and attain the Certificate of Completion.

4. Completed the following "Play By The Rules" and "Sport Integrity Australia" modules and attain the Certificates of Completion:    

       - PBTR- Harassment and Discrimination
       -  SIA- Child Safeguarding in Sport Induction  (For 18 year olds and over only)

At the completion of this course, you will gain your Volleyball Australia Level 2 "Associate" Coach Accreditation. To upgrade to a Level 2 "State" Coach, you must complete the following steps after the course.

1. Undertake a Training Session and Match Day assessment by a Level 3 Coach. 

or

    Obtain an endorsment letter from a Level 3 Coach and your State Volleyball Associaton.

2. Return to the Accreditation portal to upload all the required documents to apply for your Volleyball Australia Level 2 State Coach Accreditation application.
