Course information

This course has passed.

The course will cover:

  • Volleyball rules
  • Players correct positioning on the court
  • Signals
  • How to start and end a match

 

To attend Volleyball Australia Level 2 Face to Face Referee Course, you must complete the following prior.

1. You must be a current member of your State or Territory Volleyball Association. Please note your application will be rejected if your state membership is not current. This will be verified by your State.

2. You must be an accredited Volleyball Australia Level 1 Referee.

 

*Please note attending this Face to Face course does not complete your requirements for the Volleyball Australia Level 2 Referee Accreditation. You must complete after the course the following steps.

1. Complete the Sport Australia Community Officiating General Principles Course and attain the Certificate of Completion.

2. Complete the following Play By The Rules modules and attain the courses Certificates of Completion:       

       - Harassment and Discrimination
       - Child Protection (For 18 year olds and over only)

3. Record and complete your Refereeing Log Sheet. Please only include hours post the Face to Face VA Level 2 Refereeing Course.

4. Undertake an assessment by a mentor referee for 1x Ist Referee and 1x 2nd Referee. 

5. Return to this portal to upload all the required documents to apply for your Volleyball Australia Level 2 Referee Accreditation Application
