Tuggeranong Vikings Swim Club (the "Club") is committed to protecting the privacy of our members and any individuals who interact with us. Collection of Personal Information
The Club collects personal information necessary for the administration and management of Club activities. This includes, but is not limited to, the following types of information:

Retention of Personal Information

Member Details: Personal information of members will be retained for as long as they are active members of the Club. Once a member resigns or their membership is otherwise terminated, their personal information will be retained for a period of up to seven (7) years for administrative purposes, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Correspondence: Emails and other communications exchanged through the Club's email addresses will be retained for a period of seven (7) years from the date of the last communication, after which they will be automatically deleted, unless otherwise identified as required for legal or regulatory purposes.
Disclosure of Personal Information
The Club will not disclose personal information to third parties without the consent of the individual, except where required by law or where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Club, its members, or others.
Security of Personal Information
The Club takes reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure. These steps include secure storage of physical and electronic records, as well as implementing appropriate access controls.
Access to and Correction of Personal Information
Members have the right to access their personal information held by the Club and to request corrections if the information is inaccurate, out-of-date, incomplete, irrelevant, or misleading. Members can also make changes to their own family, contacts and other information by logging in to their member profile through this site. Otherwise, requests for access or correction should be made in writing to the Club Registrar at registrar@vikingsswim.org.au.
Complaints and Enquiries
If you have any concerns or complaints regarding the handling of your personal information by the Club, please contact the Club Secretary at secretary@vikingsswim.org.au. The Club will investigate any complaints and respond in a timely manner.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
The Club may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or regulatory requirements. Any changes will be notified to members via email and will be effective immediately upon posting on the Club's website.
