UWA Boat Club
UWA Terms & Conditions
Further information about our club, including full details of policies and procedures can be found on the UWA Boat Club website. In summary by applying for membership, you agree to:
- be familiar with the river rules and abide by them at all times
- attend a club induction session at the start of the season
- use email, social media and electronic communication responsibly when communicating about Club-related matters as detailed in the Communication & Social Media Policy. Unreasonable personal criticism, offensive language and communication that would cause distress will not be tolerated. Remember that you are representing your Club: don't be an idiot, and be good to each other (no bullying, invasions of privacy etc).

-
keep the sheds clean and tidy
-
respect the no smoking at all club training and racing venues policy
-
abide by the zero tolerance policy for any and all prohibited substances and methods as detailed in the Rowing Australia Ltd Anti-Doping Policy
-
serve & partake of alcohol responsibly

-
help out wherever possible – coaching, maintenance, events
-

In addition:
- you don't live at the Club, so don't sleep there
- you don't own the Club's stuff, so don't "borrow" it for personal use. You'll probably find that's called stealing.
- coached sessions and access to our Canning facility will incur additional costs in the off-season.
I have read, understood, acknowledge and agree to abide by the terms and conditions summarised above.
I also consent to my registration details being made available to the UWABC Committee and the UWA Sport & Recreation Association.
I understand that membership of UWA Boat Club is subject to approval by the UWA Boat Club committee.
