Our first Intermediate Learn to row program for 2023 will begin this month on Sunday 28th May!
This course is open to particpants who have completed a Learn to Row program with UWABC before or at any other club across the State or country.
All equipment is supplied and we will continue to build off the foundations learnt in your first program and try to row even further from the shed!
Please note that rowing on the Swan River is weather dependent. If we need to cancel a session for boat safety reasons, we will schedule another lesson at the end of the course. We will make every endeavor to find a day that will suit most if not all attendees.
While at the beginner level aerobic fitness is not required, you do need to be able to lift a boat overhead (as part of a crew), be able to swim 100m and your body needs to be mobile enough to compress up during the stroke. It’s a good idea to do some stretching before and after every session.
Bring a friend and have a go!
