Gary Jnr has arranged a dive trip to Lady Musgrave and surrounding Reefs staying on the new Pontoon being built forLady Musgrave Lagoon, and is opening it up to the club

This is a Liveaboard option with day trips on their vessel Underworld (the boat we dived off in January).

Unfortunately due to supply issues and weather, the pontoon wasn't able to be in place for the original dates.  We have had to re-scheduled the trip again.

Details:

Whilst the pontoon can accommodate 32 people this trip is capped to 20 Divers so we will can do 3 dives a day off Underworld on the outer reefs without having to return to Musgrave to refill 3^rd cylinder.

Non-Divers are welcome but cannot go on the dive vessel Underworld (cost & trip options TBA)

• Re-scheduled Dates:  Friday 8 October 6:30am – Monday 11 October 2021 5:00pm

We have  booked the Pontoon and diving etc but it is up to individuals to book their own travel and accommodation arrangements pre- and post- trip due to the departure/arrival times ex-Bundaberg.  **We suggest that you organise to stay at Bundaberg or Bargara on Thursday night 7th, due to the early morning departure on Friday morning.

In Summary:

• Cost:  includes 4 days diving (14 dives total), accommodation and meals:
  • $1630 pp staying in bunk style below decks.
  • $1600 pp Twin Share to stay in private glamping (Double Swag) accommodation on upper deck
  • $1900pp Single Share to stay in private glamping (Double Swag) accommodation on upper deck
  • $990 pp for non-diver

Below is the proposed package and Itinerary:

DAY 1 – Friday 8 October

• Check-in / Departure Bundaberg Port Marina, Burnett Heads (Reef Empress): 6:45am
• Morning Tea: served onboard Reef Empress
• Arrive Lady Musgrave HQ Pontoon: 9:30am
• Transfer: onto dive vessel Underworld for 3 Dives (Hoskyn, Boult & Llewellyn options) lunch served onboard
• Return to Lady Musgrave HQ Pontoon: for afternoon tea & snorkeling activities,
• BBQ Dinner on the Reef
• Night or late afternoon Dive
• Movies under the stars on the top deck openair cinema - optional

DAY 2 – Saturday 9 October

• Breakfast continental style on the reef
• Transfer to Underworld 3 dives (Heron & Sykes & Fitzroy options) lunch served onboard
• Return to Lady Musgrave HQ Pontoon: Afternoon tea & snorkeling and island activities
• Night or late afternoon Dive
• BBQ Dinner on the Reef
• Movies under the stars on the top deck openair cinema - optional

DAY 3 - Sunday 10 Octobet

• Breakfast continental style on the reef
• Transfer to Underworld for Lady Elliot Island (3 dives & lunch served onboard)
• Return to Lady Musgrave HQ Pontoon: snorkeling and island activities
• Night or late afternoon Dive
• BBQ Dinner on the Reef
• Movies under the stars on the top deck openair cinema - optional

DAY 4 – Monday 11 October

• Breakfast continental style on the reef
• Transfer to Underworld for 2 dives (Lady Musgrave Outer Reef, Fairfax Islands options)
• Return to Lady Musgrave HQ Pontoon: snorkeling & Buffet lunch
• Departure Lady Musgrave HQ Pontoon: 2:30pm
• Arrive Bundaberg Port Marina: 5:00pm

Pricing:

• Bunk style bedding in underwater observatory -reef viewing from the pillow [20 beds]: 4 days / 3 nights 14 dives $1,630.00 per person (11 day & 3 night dives)
• Upper deck Open (I believe Tent style Accommodation) [double beds]: 4 days / 3 nights 14 dives $1,600.00 per person- Twin Share (11 day & 3 night dives)
• Upper deck Open (I believe Tent style Accommodation) [double beds]: 4 days / 3 nights 14 dives $1,900.00 per person- Single Share (11 day & 3 night dives)
• Non-Diver Upper deck Open (I believe Tent style Accommodation) [double beds]: 4 days / 3 nights $990 per person- Twin Share (11 day & 3 night dives)
• Extra Night Dives $60 per person / per dive
• Gear Hire $50 per person / per day

Money for the trip is required asap, however can be negotiated, due to the short-timeframe of this trip.
