Hi Everyone,
Next week we will be holding our AGM, on the 5th August, after our regular Monthly General Meeting.
We will start the night off with a BBQ at 7:30pm. Sausages will be $3 each and payable at the BBQ area. If you could bring exact change that would make things a lot easier!
We hope to commence the regular General Meeting right on 8pm so please be ready for it by then. Our AGM will follow after a short 10min intermission. To proceed with the AGM we need a minimum of 15 members to attend to form a quorum. Please remember that only Paid Full Members (including Honorary Members) will be eligible to vote.
There are still blank spaces left on the board to nominate yourself for committee positions. So take some time before the General meeting, while enjoying your sausage, to see if there is any role you think you might be suitable. At this stage we are still looking for nominations for;
With the cases of COVID-19 continuing to rise in QLD, we need to continue to be vigilant about the importance of containing the virus through;
If you plan to attend in person on the night, please click on the link provided in this email to RSVP so that we have an idea of numbers. We will be enforcing a limited capacity of 30 people inside. Once we reach this limit, extra members will be asked to remain outside on the deck while physical distancing.
Should you not wish to join us physically, we will also have a Zoom meeting available for you to attend. Please keep an eye out for more information.
