Hi Everyone,

I'm organising a trip to Stradbroke Island to dive with the Grey Nurse Sharks! There has been a few more changes to this trip due to Social Distancing requirements. 

 

Diving at Stradbroke Island

When: 18th & 19th July

Where: Stradbroke Island

Diving: Double Dive on both Saturday and Sunday

Cost: $120 for double dive ($240 for 2 days)

Tanks & weights included. 

Hire gear available for a cost 

Due to Social Distancing requirements relaxing, we will now have only one boat trip each day. There will be 12 divers on the boat each day. 
 

Accommodation 

When: Friday 17th & Saturday 18th July

Where: Ken's house. 12 George Nothling Drive Point Lookout.

Cost: $25 per night

Bring: Sheets, pillow case and towels

If you would like to bring your non-diving partner, please check with me that there is space. 

 

Food 

BYO Breakfast & Lunch

Saturday Dinner - We will do a group BBQ. BYO meat and a salad to share.

 

Transport

Please let me know if you would like a lift with Ken on the Friday night (passengers will split the ferry cost). If not you will need to organise your own transport and ferry ticket.

Ken plans to book the ferry about 2 weeks before the trip. At this stage the latest ferry time available is 5pm on Friday night. We are hoping that as things are starting to open back up, that they will restart their normal ferry schedule and offer a 7pm Ferry on Friday night. 

 

Payment

No deposit is required for this trip. I will collect payment when we are there. There is no eftpos machine. You will need cash or cheque on the day.
