The opportunity to do an Advanced Dive at Gotham City & Cementco.

Currents are often very strong at Gotham, but it's a rewarding dive, like one big city block in the middle of the ocean.  Bottom is 37m, top of Gotham it 22m, with everything from big schools of fish & rays, to nudis.

Cementco is an upturned wreck which often has big groupers/cod inside.

If the current is too strong, the alternative is Flinders Reef, where there are always lots of things to see.

 

For this trip to happen we need:

• A skipper for the day (can dive Flinders, but possibly not Gotham due to tide times/currents)
• Someone to tow the boat
• At least 4 divers
• Good wind/swell conditions

Details:

LOCATION: Meet at POB Boat Ramp, 19 Port Drive, Port of Brisbane

TIME: 7:30am, ready to leave the ramp at 8:00am

High tide is 11:20am, so aim to get in the water around 10:50am for a max 1 hour dive  (if you have enough air)
