Cook Island - Friday the 1st of December - Night Dive.

Cook Island has a northern ledge that is a nursery for young fish and corals and a protected marine park sanctuary zone. The aim is to do a night dive at this site on Friday, the 1st December. There are many schools of temperate and tropical fish and animals including bullseyes, orange roughies, scad, eastern blue groupers, turtles, manta rays, wobbegong sharks and other invertebrates and corals such as Spanish dancers, nudibranchs, collector urchins, sea stars and both types of coral hard coral and soft coral. 

High Tide 23:50 pm Tweed River - Friday 1st of December.

Plan
18:30 - 19:30 Meet @ Dry Dock Road Boat Ramp - Tweed River.
20:00 - 21:00  Dive 1 - Night Dive.
21:00 - 22:00. Dive 2 - Night Dive.
22:45 - return boat ramp

This trip is weather-dependent with good tides, and a decision will be made closer to the day.

You will need
- Dive Gear (including weights).
- 2x Tanks.
- 2x Dive Tickets.
- Dive Torch.

By registering for this event, you are acknowledging that you are medically fit to dive, and will dive within your certification level.
