Cook Island - Saturday 28th October - Evening / Night Dive.

Cook Island has a northern ledge that is a nursery for young fish and corals and a protected marine park sanctuary zone, The aim is to do a night dive at this site on Saturday, the 28th of October. There are many schools of temperate and tropical fish and animals including bullseyes, orange roughies, scad, eastern blue groupers, turtles, manta rays, wobbegong sharks and other invertebrates and corals such as spanish dancers, nudibranchs, collector urchins, sea stars and both types of coral hard coral and soft coral. 

High Tide 20:44pm Tweed River - Saturday 28th of October.

Plan
15:30 Meet @ Dry Dock Road Boat Ramp - Tweed River.
16:30 - 18:00 - Dive 1 - Evening Dive.
18:00 - 18:45 Surface Interval.
19:00 - 08:30 Dive 2 - Night Dive.
Return Boat Ramp by 9pm latest.

This trip is weather dependent with good tides, and a decision will be made closer to the day.

You will need
- Dive Gear (including weights).
- 2x Tanks.
- 2x Dive Tickets.
- Dive Torch.
