Ex-HMAS Brisbane/Mooloolaba Dive Weekend.

Saturday – 21st October

HMAS Brisbane: 

Cost: $55 per dive (to cover permit fees and fuel costs), plus dive tickets

Please note that National Parks have increased the permit fee effective 1st Feb 2023

Dive Times: From 8:00am. 

Boat Ramp: Parkyn Parade, Mooloolaba (next to the VMR building and down the road from Underwater World)

 

Sunday – 22nd October

Inner & Outer Gneerings, Old Woman Island, Hanging Rock etc: 

Cost: 1x Dive Ticket plus your share of fuel

Dive Times: From 8:00am. 

Boat Ramp: Parkyn Parade, Mooloolaba (next to the VMR building and down the road from Underwater World)

 

 

Payment

  • Your place for HMAS dives will only be held once full payment of $55 per dive has been received. This is non-refundable.

How can you help? We need

  • Someone to tow the boat up (you will receive 1 dive ticket for your effort)
  • Someone to tow the boat back (you will receive 1 dive ticket for your effort)
  • Skippers for each day.
  • Surface watch for each day (must have a boat licence, the surface watch does not dive for this time slot)

Bad Weather

  • We have booked the permits through Scuba World. If they cancel due to bad weather then we will get a full refund. But it needs to be their decision not ours.

 

Accommodation

If you’re staying in Mooloolaba for the weekend you will need to organise your own accommodation. If you're staying up the coast, we may organise a group dinner for the Saturday night.

 

Now What??? Things you need to do if you want to come diving...
Your place will only be held once payment of $55 a dive has been received. This is non-refundable. We have to pay in full at the time of booking. If you can't go let me know ASAP! If you give me enough notice I'll try find a replacement for you. But if I can't find a replacement or you don't show, you will not get a refund.

  • Click on the link above to RSVP. Let me know via the drop down boxes if you can help skipper the boat, surface watch, transport the boat.
  • Transfer payment of $55 per dive into the club's bank account. Make sure you include your name and HMAS Brisbane into the reference section so we know it's from you.
