Hi everyone.

Our next Moreton Island Clean Up will be from Friday 23 June to Monday 26 June.

This trip, we will be staying at Castaways in their Glamping Cabins. 

• The trip will be fully catered for, saving anyone the hassle of cooking/preparing etc.
• There are 4x 2-person Glamp Cabins (King or Queen bed), and 6x 4-person Glamp Cabins (King bed & single bunk bed).  I suggest 3 singles in the 4-person cabin and you can fight over the King bed, or maybe paper:scissors:rock.  
• No need to bring linen, this is provided also, however please bring your own beach towel/s and bottled water, as Castaways has bore water only.  Castaway's store is onsite for additional purchases.
• All cabins have their own ensuite, however lighting is solar powered
• There is power available for chargers etc at the Glamp Kitchen

Cost for the trip will be $150pp plus 1x Dive Ticket Per Dive.  This cost is significantly reduced for us due to the Grant which several from the club worked so hard to successfully apply for.

What we need is the following:

• Someone to skipper Diver 1 over to Moreton and back (this includes picking the boat up from the club and returning it)
• 1x person with a 4WD who would be willing to tow the club trailer with the portable compressor, dive tanks, fuel, dive gear etc
• 2 people with 4WDs who would be willing to take their car, with passengers.
• Boat Drivers & Surface Watchers
• Divers to do clean-up dives and help sort the rubbish

At this point, we are limiting the trip to divers only, however if the trip isn't filled, we may open it up to non-divers.  This isn't a cheap weekend holiday for non-divers, however, as they will be doing the sorting if they come along.

Preferred departure over to Moreton is Friday afternoon, or walk-on's on Saturday morning (times TBA)

Departure back to Brisbane will be either Sunday afternoon or Monday morning (times TBA)
