Hi All,

As you may know I had intended on resurrecting the URGQ Photo competition during a trip to Moreton Island over the Australia day long weekend. Unfortunately, for various reasons I haven't been able to make the required bookings.

However, I still intend on running the competition over the long weekend using the following format. I am available to skipper Diver 1 on Friday and Saturday, however I am unavailable on Sunday.

Friday 26th - Depart Scarborough for Flinders Reef. Double tank dive

Saturday 27th - Depart Manly for North Stradbroke Island. Double tank dive

Sunday 28th - Depends on availability of Skipper and weather. Destination TBC (Perhaps CAR)

Disclaimer! These dives were offered to those who had already registered for the Moreton Island trip earlier this week. So far only 2 people have registered for the Friday & Saturday trips. As such there will only be 5 spots available on the Friday & Saturday. 

The competition will be run as follows.

1. There will be two (2) categories, Micro and Macro. 

2. Each competitor can submit one (2) photos per category.

3. Photos will be submitted to the dive officer, who will then pass them on to the judging committee. The Dive officer will be ineligible to enter the comp.

4. The judging committee will be made up of three (3) club members who have NOT entered the competition. 

5. The judges decision will be final, and the winners will be announced at the next available Club meeting. 

6. Prizes etc will be announced on the night......

I will need a volunteer to carry the compressor to the boat ramp, my intention is to fill Tanks back at the ramp ready for the following day.
