Hi Everyone,

You are invited to our August General Meeting followed by our AGM next Wednesday 3^rd  August at the Club House. Join us anytime after 7pm for a chat. Chill Con Carne Nachos will be ready at 7:30pm and the General Meeting will begin at 8pm.

We hope to commence the General Meeting right on 8pm so please be ready for it by then. Our AGM will follow after a short 10min intermission. To proceed with the AGM we need a minimum of 15 members to attend to form a quorum. Please remember that only Paid Full Members (including Honorary Members) will be eligible to vote.

There are still blank spaces left on the board to nominate yourself for committee positions. So take some time before the General meeting, while enjoying your Nachos, to see if there is any role you think you might be suitable. At this stage we are still looking for nominations for;

• Vice-President
• Treasurer
• Dive Captian
• Club Captain

Raffles

During the General Meeting we will be raffling off 1 bottle of wine & night dive tank light (thanks Kerry & Nelly). Nachos will come with a free raffle ticket! Additional raffle tickets may be purchased for $1 per ticket.

During the AGM we will be holding a separate raffle for an Entertainment Book. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $5 each or 3 for $10.

If you can't make the meeting in person, you are welcome to transfer some money to buy some raffle tickets. Make sure you send us an email letting us know how many tickets you want and which raffle you want tickets for.

 

With the cases of COVID-19 continuing to rise in QLD, we need to continue to be vigilant about the importance of containing the virus through;

• Maintaining physical distancing
• Frequent hand washing and sanitiser use
• Stay home if unwell
• Ensuring you sign the attendance sheet at the Club House
• Members are encouraged to wear a mask if you are unable to physically distance
