Hi all,

we are organising a clean-up to trip Moreton Island on 17 - 20 June.
We haven't been cleaning up the wrecks at the Curtin Artificial Reef for almost 3 years - so we expect that there will be a lot of debris to be collected!

The plan is to take the 8:30am ferry to Moreton Island on Friday 17 June and return to Brisbane on the 11am ferry on Monday 20 June.
However, if these times don't suit you, also the following ferry options are available:
Ferry to Moreton Island:
-Friday 17 June at 1pm
-Saturday 18 June at 8:30am
Ferry to return to Brisbane:
-Sunday 19 June at 11am or 3:30pm
-Monday 3:30pm 

When registering to this event, PLEASE let us know which ferries you will be taking as at the moment there are only 2 houses booked for Friday - Monday / 3 nights (6 + 9 beds) and 1 house for Friday - Sunday / 2 nights (8 beds). The check out time is 10am for all houses.

There are 23 spots in total available for this trip.

For this trip, we need the following:
-someone to drive Diver 1 to Moreton on Friday 17 June and back to Brisbane on Monday 20 June (or on Sunday 19 June if Monday isn't possible)
-someone who can tow the club trailer with the portable compressor & tanks/fuel
-boat drivers and surface watchers
-divers to dive and clean up the wrecks at Curtin Artificial Reef

The plan is to take 3 cars (including 1 with the club trailer) to Moreton.   

The cost will be $150 pp + 1 dive ticket per dive.

Please let us know by 16 May the latest if you will be participating this event / if you are able to help with the logistics so that we can book the ferries / organise the beach permits etc.
