Sydney Volleyball League

The UNSW Volleyball Club offers both women's and men's representative teams to compete at the highest level in the prestigious Sydney Volleyball League, State Cups, and other renowned tournaments.

Our Representative Program is designed for skilled and committed players who are passionate about competing at the highest level. Teams are selected through a rigorous trial process, giving you the chance to represent the club in elite competitions across Sydney and beyond. Our selected players are trained under the guidance of experienced, qualified coaches dedicated to improving your skills and enhancing your volleyball knowledge.

What are the commitments?

Weekly trainings
Sydney Volleyball League (SVL) (April - August on Saturdays or Sundays depending on the division)
Occasional weekend tournaments (optional but recommended)
Post-season training and tournaments (optional but recommended)
Social team bonding events (optional but recommended)

In 2025, we offer teams in the following divisions:

Womens Reserves
Womens Division 2
Mens Division 1
Mens Division 2

Trials:

All our trials will be held at the UNSW Fitness and Aquatic Centre. Registration carries a cost of $10 for current UNSW Students and Staff (holders of a valid zID) while non-UNSW student registration is $15. Registration is on a per session basis (ie to attend more than one trial you would need to register and pay separately), however those who are selected onto the team will have the amount deducted from their 2025 Player fees.
