We are located 2km from UNSW's Kingsford Campus and have our own brand-new water-based playing surface that is used for training, winter competition fixtures and twice-yearly social summer series.

New PlayersFor new players and players who did not play last year, please register your interest for the coming 2025 winter competition via our Intent to Play form. Please note that new player trials for the 2025 winter season have now taken place. COMPETITIONS
Mens
UNSW Hockey Club welcomes male players of all skills and levels.
We are currently entered in the Sydney Hockey Association (SHA) competition with 9 teams.
Our club has teams in Premier League 1-3 & Sydney League 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7
Womens
Our womens teams play across 2 competitions - Sydney Womens Hockey League (SWHL) and Sydney Eastern Hockey Association Women's competition (SEHA Women's).
We have 5 teams that compete in the Sydney Women’s Hockey League – Metro (ML) 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 Divisions. The ML1 competition is the highest level of women's hockey in Sydney and the competition more broadly sees games played at various venues, but mainly held at the Olympic Hockey Centre in Homebush.
Juniors
UNSW Junior Hockey Club is the only junior hockey club in the Eastern Suburbs area with a home turf, providing competition for mixed boys and girls teams in the Sydney East Hockey Association. The competition starts late March/ early April playing on Friday nights or Saturday mornings depending on the draw (Under 14 Metro, Under 16 and Under 18 teams tend to have games on Friday night, with younger age groups primarily playing on Saturday morning).
