Note that you don’t have to be a UNSW student or a certified diver to join UNSW UWC, however you do need a minimum of an Open Water qualification (from any recognised agency) to be able to dive with the club. Please make sure you read the TERMS because you will be agreeing to those terms by registering for membership and it's pretty important! Also please note that 2024 memberships are valid until 1st of February 2025.
You can join our amazing monthly weekend trips away - The dive calendar and details of the dive sites can be found on this website or facebook page
You can sign up for our shore dives, as well as our day trip dives around Sydney which range from Open Water to Advanced, and even Technical (for the suitably qualified)
You have access to stupidly cheap gear hire (we can set you up with a full kit of hard and soft gear)
You can join our social events, such as our pub crawls, movie nights, annual dinners and more!
UNSW UWC members are added to our email list and receive emails about upcoming dives, last minute vacancies on trips due to cancelations, UWC social functions, volunteer opportunities to participate in research and much more.
Members are also added to our WhatsApp group, where you can stay up to date on all things Underwater Club, and connect with fellow members for dive advice, organising unofficial shore dives, etc.
