Come for a dive off our club boat at Port Hacking!

 

Port Hacking is the entry point for some of the best boat diving in Sydney, and even better because they are hardly visited by local dive shops. Reefs, overhangs, caves and walls- there are a number of fantastic sites to choose from, specific sites will be chosen on the day based on conditions. Expect to see rays, gropers, cuttlefish, wobbegongs and nudibranchs at the least!

 

We'll be running four boat dives on the day, so everyone will get two dives on two different sites.

 

Cost: $45 for two boat dives and lunch, beers will be available for $2 also. Remember that you need to hire gear as well if you don't own your own, this can be done through the Underwater club:

 

Dive gear:

BCD - $10/week

Tanks (hired out empty) - $10/week

Set of regulators - $10/week

Set of weights - $5/week

Pair of fins - $10/week

Mask and snorkel - $10/week

Wetsuit - $10/week

(Note: you will need your openwater diving certificate to dive with us.)

 

This will need to be done via our online gear portal, check it out here https://www.revolutionise.com.au/underwaterclub/gear-hire-portal/. There are over 20 full sets of diving and snorkelling gear available - first in best dressed. Gear is hired out weekly and is available for pickup on the Tuesday or Thursday before between 6-6:30pm from our gear shed on campus. You are repsonsible for picking up and dropping off your own gear.
