Details
Event information
This event is sold out but we are currently investigating ways to open this trip to more people/run a second trip. Please email maryanne.naylor@gmail.com if you missed out but would still like to attend.
The UNSW Underwater Club is proud to present the 2017 Annual Liveaboard: The GREATEST LIVEABOARD OF YOUR LIFE.
Why will it be THE GREATEST LIVEABOARD OF YOUR LIFE?
Because:
1. We will be spending 7 nights on the GREAT Barrier Reef, the LARGEST living structure in the world.
2. We will be hoping to do at least two dives on the wreck of the SS Yongala, widely claimed to be the BEST dive on the planet.
3. We will be diving in July which is also the season for Minke Whales, the FRIENDLIEST whale in the ocean.
4. WE ARE A PRETTY COOL BUNCH OF PEOPLE TO HANG OUT ON A BOAT WITH FOR A WEEK.
I know you are convinced now but here are some more details for you anyway.
We will be spending the week with Cap'n Dave on his boat the MV Kalinda. Dave has been navigating these waters forever and knows (and will take us to) all the best secret dive spots. Here is more info about his boat:http://www.kalinda.com.au/
