Hello friends!

We will be diving Shark Point on Sunday the 12th of July.

Suitable for divers with Advanced Open Water certification or above and preferrably some experience within the last 6 months.

Site:

Shark Point

Time:

Meet at 09:00

Dive 1:

Time in water: 09:30
Time out of water: 10:30

Dive 2:

TBA pending interest on the day.

Location:

Shark Point, Clovelly NSW 2031

Park on Eastbourne Avenue.

Gear:

Due to COVID-19 restrictions from UNSW, we are not able to offer equipment hire from our gear shed.
We reccomend you check out Dive Centre Bondi, Sydney Dive Safari, Abyss, or Adreno in the local area.

Transport:

As above, whilst the club is normally committed to facilitating carpooling for members to ensure everyone can get to and from the dive site, due to COVID-19 restrictions imposed by UNSW we are not able to provide this. We would dearly love to see you and hope that you will be able to organise your own socially distant transport to the dive site.

Cost

Free.

The Dive:

One of Sydney's best shore dives. Often only accessible in near perfect conditions. Max depth can get down to around 27m. See more detailed information here.

Michael McFadyen says "A fantastic dive site, well worth doing time and time again". More of what Michael has to say.

There is quite a long and potentially challenging walk to the dive site. The entry can also be dangerous in the wrong conditions. The forecast for Sunday looks favourable. See here for more information.

Walk from gearing up area to water entry. Note: Two alternatives.

White arrows indicate alternative entries from the gearing up area. To be decided pending conditions on the day.
