South West Rocks? In January? Hot damn that's a good time waiting to happen!

With the unfortunate cancellation of Reef Trip this coming summer, we've decided that the only way to properly console ourselves is to head to our favourite dive site in NSW and do it right, with 7 nights and a booming 6 whole days available to dive the incredible goodness that is Fish Rock. What's that? What's Fish Rock?

It's only a 125 metre underwater cave in the best grey nurse shark aggregation site in NSW, with rays, wobbies, countless nudis and so much other marine life that we can't even comprehend describing it. There's a reason why this is our most popular trip.


Unfortunately for some, the dive at Fish Rock is both deep and cavey, and as such is only accessible to more experienced divers. As a result, to register for this trip you must have a minimum of 40 logged dives AND have completed your PADI Advanced open water diver or equivalent.

Drinks will be provided but don't expect anything too fancy - if you have particular tastes you're welcome to BYO.

|| GEAR ||
You are responsible for organising your own gear. BCDs, tanks, regulators, dive computers, wetsuits, masks, fins and weights are all available to hire from the club through our gear hire portal*. (https://www.revolutionise.com.au/underwaterclub/gear-hire-)

If you need anything else you can hire it from the local dive shop there or hire stuff out for the weekend from any dive shop in Sydney

|| DIVING ||

Boat Dives:
$25 each, 1/3 the cost of a commercial operation! Pick up from Trial Bay Beach, short run out to Fish Rock. We will aim for two dives per person/day from Friday onwards, dependent on weather and conditions. Tank fills aren't included and will be purchased at the local dive shop, expect to pay about $12/fill.

VERY IMPORTANT:

The cave is pitch black in sections, as such it is necessary that everybody have THEIR OWN torch - they can be rented from a number of dive shops in Sydney if you don't have one. The same goes for your OWN safety sausage and dive computer. No SMB / computer = no diving.

|| SLEEPING ||
Beds are assigned on a first paid first served basis. If you are not assigned a bed please bring something comfy to sleep on like a sleeping bag, air mattress, tent, or whatever you fancy.
