The September Broughton Island trip was cancelled due to adverse weather. This is the replacement trip.

If you love diving in pristine waters with sharks, rays, and giant schools of fish then do not miss out on our upcoming Broughton Island adventure. We will be taking the mighty Didj across to Broughton Island and spend the weekend camping, diving, snorkeling and enjoying the island lifestyle.

Because we are travelling by boat to the island and staying for the weekend there are a few extra details you need to be aware of:

IMPORTANT DETAILS

• This trip is from THURSDAY NIGHT to Sunday. You will need to take Friday 15th off work/uni. You can choose to travel up on Thursday night, or Friday morning.
• We will be doing dives at Nelson Bay on Friday morning.
• To get across to the island we will be departing by boat from Nelson Bay Marina @ 2:00pm Friday afternoon.
• Cost is $180 pp (includes camping permits, island transfer, food for 3 days and alcohol for party night).
• On the island we can not refill tanks, therefore dives are limited by the tanks you bring. We recommend 2 per person, which means 2 dives per person on the island.
• The club is only able to hire out 1 tank per person (so please do not try and book any more).
• Additional tanks can be hired from the local dive shop before we leave for the island.
• You will be camping at Nelson Bay on Thursday night and on the island on Friday & Saturday night.
• You will need to bring your own camping gear (or share with a friend). Pack light because camping space is very limited. A list of recommended items will be provided.
• Broughton Island is AWESOOMMMMEEEEE!!!!! (and tickets normally sell out extremely fast so get in asap).
