Hi divers,

Keen to dive one of the best wrecks on the east coast?

We're hosting a weekend trip to Terrigal to dive to the HMAS Adelaide! The Adelaide is a deep wreck dive, so only divers who hold their advanced certification and a minimum of 40 logged dives will be able to attend the trip. You will have to bring a torch and a safety sausage!

The Ex HMAS Adelaide is the newest wreck dive in Australia. It was sunk in April 2011 to create an artificial reef and a wreck diving site. The HMAS Adelaide is a 138 meter long  vessel of the Australian Navy. Everything has been done to make the wreck interesting to dive, with most of the original items of the ship left in place. Holes have also been created to allow easy access for divers, making penetration of the wreck safe. There will be some drinks provided on Saturday night, with the intention of diving on Sunday. While alcohol will be provided, feel free to bring your own, as we can't really cater to specific tastes.

|| COST ||

$125 for accommodation, food each day and drinks on Saturday night. (Dinner isn't included on Friday night and lunch is not included on Sunday, but every other meal is)

|| DIVING ||

$25 per boat dive

Air fills at local dive shops (approximately $10 per fill)

|| GEAR ||

You are responsible for organizing your own gear. BCDs, tanks, regulators, wetsuits, masks, fins and weights are all available to hire from the club through our gear hire portal ( https://www.revolutionise.com.au/underwaterclub/gear-hire-portal/ )

|| GETTING THERE ||

We will do our best to arrange carpooling for those who don't drive.
