|| WHAT'S HAPPENING ||

“Best shore dives in Australia” at Halifax Park, Aquatic Reserve! The Underwater Club is heading north to Nelson Bay. Expect good diving, great company, moderate banter, big cook ups, and a rad party. There may even present an opportunity for a night dive, to be assessed during trip.

After a few full days splashing in the sea is leaving you thirsty, Sunday night will be party night! (Theme TBA). Drinks will be provided however those with more discerning tastes are welcome to bring their own.

If you are uncomfortable sharing a house and a room with people you don’t know, this trip is unfortunately not for you.

|| COST ||

$210 - includes 4 nights' accommodation; all meals on Friday, Saturday, Sunday (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner), breakfast on Monday and drinks for the party night!

You will need to pay for air fills separately (see below).

|| DIVING ||

Any shore dives we do are free! Air fills at local dive shops are roughly $10

In order to participate in the organised dives, you will need to show us your SCUBA certification card and be competent and confident in your swimming abilities.

There may present an opportunity for a night dive, this will be approriately assessed during the trip.

|| GEAR ||

You are responsible for organising your own gear. BCDs, tanks, regulators, wetsuits, masks, fins and weights are all available to hire from the club through our gear hire portal - https://www.revolutionise.com.au/underwaterclub/gear-hire-portal/. You will need to book, collect, clean, dry and return any hired club gear.

If any night diving arises, divers will require torches to take part in the dive - if you do not have a torch, one can be hired from local dive shops.
(Unfortunately our gear shed does not include torches in their inventory.)

|| GETTING THERE ||

Everyone is responsible for organising their own transport (including dive gear). 

|| BOOKING ||

Bookings for this trip will open at 7pm on Tuesday the 28th of March. You will need to be a paid 2023 member to register. Please note that the number of attendees on this trip are limited, and a waitlist will be opened at 7.10pm on Tuesday the 28th of March for those that miss out.
