The Underwater Club will be hosting its Annual General Meeting and meet-and-greet on Monday 6 March 2023 at the Roundhouse (Collaboration Space 1).

Welcome drinks will be kicking off at 5:00pm in the beer garden, with the AGM itself starting at 6:30pm in the function room.

This AGM and meet-and-greet is a great way to get to know a bit more about the club and to get involved if you're interested! 

You will have an opportunity to learn about the club's activities over the past year and the awesome stuff we have planned for 2023!! (There will also be merch for sale for those who want it!)

It's also a great opportunity to meet some likeminded scuba divers, free divers and snorkellers that love the ocean and marine life as much as you do, and to have a few laughs!

Most importantly , we will also vote in the new executive and committee for the year. The UWC is a Club run by members by members and this is a fantastic opportunity to get involved (or stay involved) with running the club to provide dive trips, dive events and social events for members!! Everyone is welcome to get involved with the committee and executive positions (though if you want to vote and run for positions you do need to renew your membership for 2023).

For most roles, the only real requirement is a can-do attitude and a bit of time! (If there are more nominees than positions available, there will be a vote on the evening). More information about the roles is available on our website here. 

We know that some of you like to be really organized and/or that not everyone can make it on the night,If you would like to throw your name in ring in advance, you can do so here.  You do not have to pre-nominate as we do accept nominations on the evening!!
