More boat dives in Sydney Harbour... and a BBQ at Malabar Beach! Woohooooo

Sign up now for ANOTHER awesome day of boat diving at two amazing dive sites in Sydney Harbour. We will be checking out the Sharkies at Magic Point and scouring for wrecks at Long Bay/Malabar. We will also be running a BBQ at sunny Malabar Beach where you can buy super cheap betterthanbunnings snags and soft drinks.

If you have been waiting for your chance to do some diving with the club this year, or are a little unsure and may need a helping hand getting in the water, then this is what you've been waiting for. Nice easy dives for beginners who are keen to get wet. 

Dive Site Info: These are both beginner dives but some of Sydney's best. Expect to see grey nurse sharks, Port Jackson sharks, Wobbegong sharks, Weedy Sea Dragons, Cuttlefish, Octopuses, loads of different fish, and the shipwreck of the MV Malabar. Check out these videos of the dive sites:

What time:  The first group of divers leaves the beach at 9am sharp. Depending on the number of attendees we will set up a roster and allocate people to the next group if need be. We estimate a 1.5hr turnaround, so the first group will arrive back from their first dive at 10:30am. The dive roster will be finalised in a followup email.

Cost:    $50 for a double boat dive (these will include a surface interval back at the beach)

Booking: Registration will open at 8pm this evening via the club website. You must be a paid member and certified diver to attend and join the dives. (If you aren't a member and want to come down to see what all the fuss is about you are most welcome to come and check it out and join the BBQ).

Hiring gear: If you do not have your own dive gear and need to hire some you can do so via the club website: https://www.revolutionise.com.au/underwaterclub/gear-hire-portal/ You need to be a payed member in order to hire club gear and to come on the dive. Please read the website carefully as it has all the information that you need to know about hiring, all you need to do is read it. This will be a double dive so you will need 2 tanks and as the club does not fill tanks you will need to get them filled at your local dive shop (we reccommend Dive Centre Bondi who give $5 fills if you say you are with the club).

Specific details of the dive roster will be sent out closer to the date.
