Simon says Boatie Training 3.0 is back on, Saurday 9th September.

Cost is $30pp to cover a full day of boat fuel, but will be invoiced separately after you have booked in order to manage priority allocations to those who meet the above criteria.

Training will begin at the UNSW Tramshed where you will be shown the boat in detail and learn how to pack and prepare the boat and trailer for towing. We will then proceed to Botany Bay where you will be taught how to launch and retrieve the boat from a boat ramp.

We will then spend the day learning and practicing all the technical and practical skills that are required by skippers to safely operate a boat full of divers. You will be formally tested on your boat handling skills and must pass with enough points in order to be certified as a boatie.

We will then head back to the Tramshed in the afternoon to learn what is involved in washing and packing away the Didj after use.
