Fancy a break before uni gets back into the swing of things for the semester?

The Underwater Club is heading south to Shellharbour. Expect good diving, great company, moderate banter, big cook ups, and a rad party.

|| COST ||

$130 – includes 2 nights’ accommodation; all meals on Saturday, breakfast on Sunday and drinks for the party night! (Drinks will be provided however those with more discerning tastes are welcome to BYO).

|| DIVING ||

$25 per boat dive (<1/2 of the cost of commercial operators). We are planning to dive all day on Saturday, two boat dives each, with optional dives available on Sunday (weather permitting) at a variety of dive sites.

Air fills at local dive shops and approx. ~$10. And there are some great nearby shore dives if you’re still craving time underwater!

In order to participate in the organised dives, you will need to have your dive certification and be competent and confident in your swimming abilities. You should have dived within the past 12 months and be comfortable to dive in a buddy pair without a dive guide (we aren’t a commercial dive shop).

|| GEAR ||

You are responsible for organising your own gear. BCDs, tanks, regulators, wetsuits, masks, fins and weights are all available to hire from the club through our gear hire portal - https://www.revolutionise.com.au/underwaterclub/gear-hire-. You will need to book, collect, clean, dry and return any hired club gear.

|| GETTING THERE ||

Shellharbour is a lovely short drive South from Sydney.

Everyone is responsible for organising their own transport (including dive gear).

Tickets on sale 06:00 pm on Wednesday, 05 May 2021

Bookings for this trip will open at 06:00pm on Wednesday, 05 May 2021. You will need to be a paid 2021 member to register. Please note that the number of attendees on this trip are limited so be quick to register (we suggest setting a reminder on your phone). A waitlist will be opened at 06:10pm on Wednesday 05 May 2021 for those that miss out in case of cancellations.

Further details regarding this trip will be sent to members after they’ve register and pay - beds are allocated on a first paid, first served basis, so get in quick!
