Welcome to the Upper Great Southern Hockey Association

The Upper Great Southern Hockey Association spans across a large part of southern Western Australia and includes the towns of Brookton, Dumbleyung, Narrogin, Pingelly, Wagin, Wickepin, Williams & Woodanilling. An international standard artificial turf surface is located in Narrogin with surrounding towns providing grass fields.

UGSHA is a progressive and inclusive association and was recognised as Australia's Best Sporting Association at the 2018 Sportscover Clubbies Awards. UGSHA was also awarded the Singapore Cup for Best Association at Hockey WA's 2019 CBH Country Championships & Hockey WA Top Healthy Club in 2020. In 2022, UGSHA was recognised by Clubs WA as the State Winner in the Road Safety category for our 'I Know What I'd Rather Be Doing - Don't Drink & Drive' sporting round in collaboration with the Narrogin & Districts Netball Association.

Players of all ages and abilities are welcome with winter cometition for Men's A and B grades, Women's A and B grades, Juniors (Year 2 to Year 12) and GoldStix for Yr groups PP and Yr 1. Social mixed hockey competitions are conducted in the summer months.
