TXR Self Defence Seminar
This is a self defence seminar that is safe for all participants.
- Please wear comfortable work out attire.
- No shoes are to be worn on the mats.
Absolutely no experience required. The seminar is designed for first-time students and is suitable for ages 13 and up. (Note: participants under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult)
The main theme of the Seminar is to use the mechanics of the body to bring an end to an altercation and get away to safety, rather than potentially escalating an assault by striking an assailant.
We utilise techniques that are proven to be energy efficient, exploiting weak areas of the human body, such as joints, and manipulating the body-weight distribution of an attacker against them.

- Learn 6 techniques that could save your life.
- How to reduce your risk of being a potential target.
- How to defend against a aggressive attacker.
- Learn how to get away from an attacker who grabs you without warning.
- How to escape from underneath an attacker.
- How to get to your feet and get away.
