2024 State Championships

At the 2024 Tasmanian State Championships, Tasmania University Boat Club achieved 14 state titles. The most significant was the winning of the senior men's eight which was last won by the club in 1997. TUBC was also awarded the pennant flag and cup for the club with the highest points over season from pennant regattas. 

  • Championship Senior men’s eight: Oliver Shearing, Sam Casey, Angus Paynter, James Cocker, Jonathon Voss, Rowan Sanderson, Falcon Palmer, Archie Stewart and cox Gavin Wakefield.
  • Championship U23 men’s double: Angus Paynter and Oliver Shearing
  • Championship U19 men’s single Oliver Shearing
  • Championship U23 men’s pair of Jonathon Voss and Rowan Sanderson
  • Championship U21 men’s pair of Falcon Palmer and Archie Stewart
  • Championship U19 women’s pairs of Matilda Cocker and Maddie Higgins
  • Championship U21 women’s pair of Matilda Cocker and Maddie Higgins
  • Championship U19 women’s double of Matilda Cocker and Maddie Higgins
  • Championship U23 women’s single Kate Oliver
  • Championship U21 men’s coxless four of Jonathon Voss, Rowan Sanderson, Falcon Palmer and Archie Stewart
