National Umpire Course

Course Presenter: Sam Miller (International Umpire)

This is a great opportunity to obtain the 'National Umpire' qualification.  From the National Umpire level you may progress to the International level.  This two-day course will take you through the Laws and Regulations of Table Tennis and equip you to become a "National" Umpire.

If a State Umpire has held their qualification for at least two years then they are eligible to undertake the course and sit the examination to become a National Umpire.

This course is suitable for players, coaches, and parents interested in acquiring a detailed knowledge of the rules and umpiring at State and National Championships level

The agenda will cover Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 of the ITTF Handbook over the two days.  We will also look at various videos to highlight points and will run a few practical scenarios to re-enforce different points about practical umpiring.
