The RPAYC Discover Sailing Centre and Training Academy is pleased to welcome you to our Junior Green Fleet Training Program for February through March 2023. This course will include eight training sessions, conducted over the dates listed. All session times are 0830 - 1130 hrs.

Program Information

All programs are subject to change with limited notice, based on demand and availability. To avoid disappointment, we recommend registering early. 

There is one registration fee available for this Program:

^To be eligible for this program, the participating sailor must be a financial 'Youth Member' for the 2022/23 Membership Season (through to 30th April 2023)

Program Focus:

Following the structure and instruction in learn-to-sail programs. Green Fleet is an introduction to coaching and learning to train.

Green Fleet promotes practicing the fundamental skills of sailing, introduces some foundation race skills through training activities in an environment that is enjoyable, without a competition focus.

During the Program sailors are encouraged to take part in freesail activity, and to trial a variety of boats, boards, and other club related activity through age appropriate design.
