Welcome to the Trigg Island Walk & Talk program! This program is part of Surf Life Saving Australia's Silver Salties initiative, supported by State Centres and funded by Sport Australia through the Move It - Better Ageing Grant program. Silver Salties is a physical activity and social connections initiative for older Australians, but all ages are welcome!

The program is all about enjoyment, fitness and social interaction with like-minded people in a safe and welcoming environment. Led by Program Leader and Trigg Island Community Engagement Officer Jessie Barker, all fitness levels and abilities are welcome and you're encouraged to stay for a cuppa in the clubhouse at the conclusion of the session.

The Trigg Island Walk & Talk group will meet at the Trigg Island Surf Club Courtyard.

There is no fee to be involved, and participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes, bring a water bottle and be sun-safe. All COVID-19 precautions are also in place i.e. stay at home if unwell, social distancing, good hand hygiene, coughing/sneezing etiquette etc.

Participants are welcome to attend as often as they can!
