Tech Savvy is back! Join our Trigg Island Tech Pro Gabby each Friday afternoon for FREE hands on, 90 minute session, covering a range of different technology topics.  

Each week Gabby's sessions cover new information, educating and teaching attendees a variety of new skills or further explanding existing knowledge. Topics will be promoted each week prior to class so you know what's on from week to the next. 

Week 1 - Friday 13th May, will be a bumper launch to Tech Savvy Term 2, and everyone who attends will go in the draw to WIN A CHROMECAST - Google’s user-friendly streaming device with thousands of apps including Netflix, Hulu and Spotify. Chromecast devices have multiple uses, from streaming movies, music and TV shows to displaying photos. Chromecast gives you the home cinema experience without having to invest in a smart TV.

The topic covered in Week 1 Tech Savvy class will be SEARCHES - including;

• What is the difference between Web Browsers and Search Engines?
• How do you maximise your search to get the best results? 
• Ways to ensure your search results are verified and authentic.
• Introduction to Google Scholar. 

Most importantly make sure you bring your TABLET OR LAPTOP with you to work throught the search topic content.  

New members always welcome, so feel free to bring a friend too. Plus you can stay on for Free Chip Friday at 5pm and have a drink and some chips afterwards!
