2025 TYC GaLS Regatta - Friday 5th to Sunday 7th September 2025

Where: Townsville Yacht Club 

Following the popularity of the inaugural TYC GaLS Regatta in 2017, the event was held again in 2018 and 2019 with both years again being a huge success.  After the disappointment of not being able to host the event in 2020, we were are now planning the 8th annual Townsville Yacht Club GaLS Regatta in September 2025. Being immediately after SeaLink Magnetic Island Race Week, the action continues with the ladies time to shine. With competitive onwater racing and a big social calendar, a great weekend is sure to be had by all.

This event, designed to promote and develop women’s sailing in North Queensland, is planned to be an annual regatta to help our regions female sailors develop and hone racing skills, challenge themselves and compete with like minded women.  We aim to create friendships and comradery to ensure all competitors’ sailing experiences at the Townsville Yacht Club are fun and rewarding.
