Join us for the Mother's Day Charity Run/Walk run, sponsored by Rebel Sport.

Location: Rossiter Park, Kimball street, Aitkenvale

Date: May 9, 2021

Time: 7:00am start. Please arrive by 6:30am. 

Distance: 5km run/walk

Cost: Juniors 6-17yrs $5; Adults 18+ $10.

Course: Start at Rossiter Park and run towards Nathan St bridge, cross the bridge and run along the river paths to Aplins Weir, cross the bridge into Mundingburra and run along river path back to the start/finish line. 

Prizes: first mother/daughter pair over the finish line, first mum over the finish line, various random draw prizes

CHARITY: The Women’s Centre, a safe space for women.

Services include;

• free 24hr support for sexual assault survivors
• free counselling for for issues related to women’s emotional and mental health
• support for women over 18 to transition out of homelessness into housing
• activities for women to reduce social isolation and build community connection
• outreach programs in Charters Towers, Ayr, Ingham, and Townsville Correctional Centre
