TPM Alpine Series Run 1
Event information
The Physio Movement is sponsoring a 3-part running series. Each run will offer a hilly short course and long course. More details will be provided at the run brief.
Start time: 6:00am. Please arrive by 5:45 am for the Race Brief.
Start location: TPM carpark (318-324 Sturt street, Townsville City)
Select the 'registration' button to register.
Long Course 6.8 Km
Go to the Alpine Series Race 1 map for the long course.
Start on Sturt Street and turn right into Knapp Street. Go up Knapp Street and turn left into Scully Street. At the end of Scully Street go onto the Maidenhair Track, turn right towards the city. Follow the Maidenhair Track and exit onto Hillside Crescent. Follow Hillside Crescent and Stanton Terrace down to Victoria Street. Follow Victoria Street and turn left to go down Murray Street. Turn right into Gregory Street then right into Eyre Street. Turn right into Leichhardt Street (Old Hospital hill) and left into upper Denham Street. Turn right into Hales Street and then left into Stokes Street. Go down Stokes Street and turn left into Sturt Street. Cross Denham Street (Use pedestrian crossing) and go up and then down Melton Terrace to the Strand. Turn right at the Strand then right into Wickham Street and continue into Flinders Street. Follow Flinders Street and turn right into Blackwood Street. Turn left into Sturt Street and finish at the carpark.
Short Course 3.5 Km
Go to the Alpine Series Race 1 map for the short course.
Start on Sturt Street and turn right into Knapp Street. Go up Knapp Street and turn left into Scully Street. At the end of Scully Street go onto the Maidenhair Track, turn right towards the city. Follow the Maidenhair Track and exit onto Hillside Crescent. Follow Hillside Crescent and Stanton Terrace down to Victoria Street. Follow Victoria Street and turn right to go down Stokes Street. Turn right into Sturt Street and finish at the carpark.

* Members and Non-members can register through the RevSport portal and will have to acknowledge the waiver.
* Athletes are requested to turn up just over 15 mins before their start time.
* Athletes are responsible for bringing their own hydration / nutrition.
* Athletes are responsible for understanding the course. Please study the map beforehand (print and take if needed).
