Join us for the Mother's Day Charity Run/Walk run, sponsored by Rebel Sport.

Location: Rossiter Park, Kimball street, Aitkenvale

Time: 7:00am start. Please arrive by 6:30am. 

Distance: 5km run/walk

Cost: Juniors 6-17yrs $5; Adults 18+ $10.

Course: Start at Rossiter Park and run towards Nathan St bridge, cross the bridge and run along the river paths to Aplins Weir, cross the bridge into Mundingburra and run along river path back to the start/finish line. 

Prizes: first mother/daughter pair over the finish line, first mum over the finish line, various random draw prizes

CHARITY PROJECT: Safe Nights Townsville. The Women’s Centre and Soroptimist International of Breakwater want to ensure that vulnerable women and their families have access to a safe place to sleep. Often families escaping domestic violence do not have immediate access to safe accommodation. This project provides crisis accommodation.
