Toowoomba Hockey are excited to offer a series of FREE Umpire Development & Support Workshops during July. The training sessions will be held in the viewing room unless otherwise stated from 6.00-7.00pm.

These training sessions are an open door opportunity for all umpires to attend.

High Performing Team Coach, Adéle Spurgin, will present a series of topics. Each one will be presented twice to ensure all interested individuals have the chance to participate.  To read more about Adele check out her BIO.

1) AIR - Awareness, Interpret & Rewire develop your mindset for greater success

2) SSS - For any situation - a deep dive into State, Story & Strategy

3) BASE - Breath, Action, Sensation & Emotions (how to not overthink umpiring outcomes & bounce back from a “wrong” in game decisions)

4) IGNITE your Confidence -set boundaries and maintain relationships on and off the pitch

You are welcome to attend more than one session.  Please bring a notebook and pen with you.
