The Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania invites sailors in Optimist to a weekend training camp led by coach Oscar O'Donoughe (Optimist).

Endorsed by the Tasmanian International Optimist Association, this camp is the first event for the 2023-24 season and is designed to set the scene for subsequent training and racing towards the various class Australian Championships in December and January.

With the generous support of Miena Village, RYCT can offer this camp at $75 to RYCT members and at $150 cost to all other Tasmanian Laser, Optimist, F11, and Sabot sailors.

All levels of skill will be catered for in each class including Open, Intermediate and Green Fleets.

RYCT canteen will be in operation for lunch and post-sailing hot dishes will be served at the end of sailing on Saturday and Sunday. Post-sailing meals are included in the registration fee.

Friday's welcome and event briefing will also include a meal for participants.
