Sailing season 2023-2024
The upcoming sailing season is going to be massive. The best way to maximise your families enjoyment of this wonderful sport is planning. The Optimist class is one of the most popular sailing fleets in the world and therefore has many opportunities to sail locally, nationally and internationally.
Travelling away to regattas can sound daunting, but it doesn't need to be. There are plenty of people to help with boat transportaion tips and advice, chartering and what to expect. Regetta are also a grat way to meet other sailing families and make new friendships. See our FAQs page with more information about travalling to out-of-state regatta and what to expect.
