Games of the Future is an event for beginner and experienced fencers aged under 18 to honour our Olympic Stars of Tomorrow and Today.

Represent a country – bring a flag or wear a special item of clothing.

Venue: Fencing Institute, 91 Jack Hinton Drive, Addington

Timetable:

Foil: Under 11* and Under 13*. Registration 9.00am - 9.15am. Opening Ceremony 9.15am for start at 9.30am

Foil: Students Under 18*. Registration 11.00-11.15. Opening Ceremony 11.15am  for start at 11.30am

Epee: Students Under 18*. Registration 1.00-1.15pm. Opening Ceremony 1.15pm for start at 1.30pm

*Age as at 1 January

Format: Dependent on numbers and experience of fencers but will be prioritising maxi fence.

Events will be fenced mixed gender unless we have enough fencers to run separate men’s and women’s events.

$20 per event. Payable by internet banking: The Fencing Institute 03-1707-0148185-000 or cash at time of registration.

Equipment Requirements:
•    350N Jackets, plastrons and breeches or long sports pants. Chest protectors for women. Gear can be hired.
•    Lames, mask safety and security attachment will be checked on the piste.
•    Not required: lame bibs, FIE maraging blades.

Tea, coffee and hot chocolate will be available free of charge. Our kitchen facilities are available for you to bring your own food.

Entries Close 10pm Thursday 30th July.

Results: This competition will have live results available on the Fencing Institute website.
