This group class is designed specifically for high school students of all abilities. Epee instruction is given by our experienced coach Kate Brill. All protective clothing and fencing equipment is provided if required. You will only need sports shoes, trousers, tee-shirt and a water bottle. If you have your own fencing clothes and equipment bring those along.
There will be 9 classes in Term 1 in 2020. The total fee is $40. Because of the low fee for this class there is no discount for attending only some of the sessions.
If you wish to be a competitive fencer and enter into competitions you will also need to affiliate with Fencing New Zealand at an additional cost of $70 for the year. We will explain how you can do this once you have registered.
Our coach is an accredited Fencing New Zealand coach who has signed FeNZ code of conduct and she has been police vetted. She is an experienced Master of Arms, Olympic, Junior Olympic and Commonwealth Coach.
