Zone Squad - Additional Information 

Zone Squads are a part of the Tennis Australia Player Development Pathway which will work to increase participation at the performance level of development by creating more opportunities to more aspiring Australian junior tennis players. This program also enables Tennis Australia to engage some of the great private coaches we have across Australia as we appoint selected coaches as ‘Zone Coaches’ who will be responsible for the facilitation of these sessions.

For those selected for the 13O South West Regional Zone Squad, there will be a fee of $300 ( $15.00 p/h x 2 hrs x 10 sessions). It is important that you know this squad program is envisioned as an optional addition to your current weekly schedule that you have with your private coach. Should you be selected, it is intended to complement your weekly schedule by providing further on court training, strength and conditioning and match play opportunities. 

Only players involved in the Barwon or Bendigo Regional Academies of Sport will be considered for this developmental program, which will conclde at the conclusion of 2024. The aim of this program is to compliment the Regional Academies of Sport, so it is expected that all invited players actively participate in the RAS if selected.
