ACT - Super 10s Challenge Day Term 3, 2023
Event information
Challenge Days provide aspiring Super 10’s players the opportunity to test their level of play against other 10 and under boys and girls. Challenge Day events are one of three ways a player can be selected for an upcoming Super 10’s season.
Super 10s is an exciting team-based event for the leading 10 and under players in the ACT region.
Boys and girls are invited to participate in a Super 10’s season based on the following:
- Results in ACT Super 10’s Challenge Day events
- Results in ACT 2023 JDS events
- Verified singles UTR (if applicable - the UTR must have a 100% reliability rating to be used)
- On court qualities (best effort, competitiveness, honesty, respect, sportsmanship)
Players thinking about registering for the Challenge Day should consider the following before signing up.
The athlete should be able to:
· Rally at least 10 shots up and down the middle of the court.
· Serve with a variety of spin and pace.
· Be competent at hitting slice and topspin
· Be able to move the ball around the court with purpose.
· Have a good attitude on court by showing respect to the game and their opponent.
· Players should have competitive experience using a green ball.
