You are invited to come along and have a skate to support our Skaters & Coaches attend upcoming International events:

World Skate 2024 Artistic International Series (Round 2) - Trieste, Italy

Jessalyn Brown (with coach Gawaine Davis) will be heading to Trieste, Italy to compete in the World Skate 2024 Artistic International Series (Round 2) qualifying event. World Skate ranking points are up for grabs, with the top skaters from across Europe expected to attend. Following the Competition, Jessalyn plans to train in Italy with some of the top Italian Coaches.

World Skate Oceania Championships / Pacific Cup 2024 - New Plymouth, New Zealand

Jessalyn Brown, Sophie Petterson and Zara Davis (with coach Esther Ambrus) will be heading to New Plymouth, New Zealand to compete in the World Skate Oceania Championship (Jessalyn & Sophie) and Pacific Cup (Zara) 2024. This is the highest level of competition in the Oceania region, again with  World Skate ranking points are up for grabs.

 

During this fun session these Skaters will also provide some live performances.

The Skate-A-Thon will take place from 5:30pm -6:00pm, and skaters will have their laps officially recorded.
An average amount of laps could be 2 laps per minute,
ie, 60 laps total as a reference. Some skaters may do less laps and some may do more.

Each lap is 73.25m (14 laps = 1km, 68 laps = 5km)

Penrith Skatel to Trieste, Italy = 16,142km

Penrith Skatel to New Plymouth, NZ = 2,167km

 

Prizes will be awarded for the skater who does the most laps, and the skater that fundraises the most amount of sponsorship money.
Come along in your coolest Italian or New Zealand gear all in the spirit of the event. The best dressed will also win a prize.

We will have a lot of fun with the skaters and many games and skating activities
will be run during this 5:00-6:30pm special fundraising session.

Skate-A-Thon Entry (only 1 person per order):

$15.00    - Skater Registration fee - only available to Team Skatel / SkateNSW Members (CAT 1-4).

$25.00    - Skater Registration fee - for Non members (this includes Get Your Skaters On - Come & Try Insurance cover fee*)

$10.00    - Spectator Entry

All funds raised will be used to support the Team Skatel International Skaters and Coaches.

Donations - You can also donate directly to assist any of the Skaters by purchasing a Donation Ticket.

 

* Complete the Get Your Skaters On - Come & Try Insurance cover form then Register for this Event as a Skater - Non Member (Get Your Skates On)

Note: Only Members are covered by the Skate Australia Insurance Program, Non-Members participate at their own risk.
