INTRA Season Finals

That’s a wrap for our INTRA competition for winter! We want to take a moment to congratulate and applaud the remarkable athletes, teams, referees and coaches who make it such a success. INTRA is all about players creating a supportive and inclusive community, with the added bonus of friendly competition. 

Stingers wants to shine a spotlight on the outstanding booties who've wow’d our club with their commitment to training and learning the game. It has been spectacular to see such high standards this season and a huge congratulations to all players for mastering new skills. 

Thank you for joining us in celebrating the incredible achievements in our small but mighty pocket of waterpolo. 

Results for the Season:

We are on a short break now returning on 17th September to training, the swim squad will still be swimming to keep your laps up and keep an eye out on Facebook for the start up of training again for the summer season.

Grudge Match in Brisbane

Brisbane Tritons will be hosting the Rainbow Grudge Match on September 30th. Go Stingers!

AGM and Winter Season Awards

The 2023 AGM will be held at the Burdekin on Saturday 7th October at 3:30pm, look out for the formal notice in your inbox. This will be followed by the Winter Season Awards to celebrate our METRO and INTRA shenanigans. 

Stingers On Tour

Keep an eye out for your teammates as Stinger set out for world domination! We'll be battling it out in the pool here:

• Brisbane Grudge Match - Saturday 30th September 
• Gay Games in Guadalajara, November 2023
• Melbourne Grudge Match March 2024 (during Midsumma). 
• IGLA in Buenos Aires, November 2024 (coincides with Pride events in Argentina)
